![]() ![]() ![]() Anything you put through that box sounds cool and huge just by passing through the circuitry, which is a mark of good quality. The H910 plug-in is a faithful recreation of the original hardware. With its unique combinations of pitch shifting, modulation and delay, the H910 can be heard on countless ground-breaking works by artists from AC/DC to David Bowie to Frank Zappa. I've had many hardware delay boxes, the H910 is special, I am totally in love with the H910, it is the sound of the late '70s David Bowie, the Cars, TV commercials etc. The Eventide H910 Harmonizer was the world’s first digital effects processor. ![]() So I think spending 300 dollars for a plugin version might actually not a bad deal, if it sounds very close to the hardware and one is looking for that sound. So I got a clean working unit for 700 bucks, but of course with the risk that the chips, now almost impossible to find, can go down at any time since these units are forty years old. The product recreated in this plug-in was among the rst introduced by Eventide - and among the world’s rst commercially available professional recording products. I just had it completely refurbished (all the electrolytic capacitors replaced, all the chips disassembled and all components cleaned out etc.) and that cost $504. Thank you for your purchase of the Eventide H910 Harmonizer plug-in. I recently bought an original hardware H910 for 200 bucks "as is, untested", and it miraculously worked, but it was noisy. The software version is soooo expensive I could never consider using it.I have to give fellow GSers a caveat here. The original hardware units are usually cheap.
